1.  Exponent s

Exponents are notation used to indicate repeated multiplication

2⁵ = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2

(two raised by 5^th power = two times two times two times two times two)

2.  Absolute Value

The absolute value or real number is its distance from zero on the real number line. Absolute value is never negative

3.  Opposite

Any two real number the same distance from zero on the number line but in the opposite directions from zero are called the opposites. Opposites always add to zero.
